About this project
Tails is an amnesic live system that routes through Tor. It is a default tool for journalists who cannot leave traces on a machine. Whonix splits a Tor gateway from a workstation. People often run it inside Qubes.
These are small projects with little venture story and a lot of field use. They live in “just enough” mode: infra, security reviews, and accessibility wait on the next donation.
This grant is a donation to the existing Tails and Whonix projects. It pays reviews, infrastructure, and work that makes the tools usable for people who are not engineers.
