About this project
Qubes OS isolates work in virtual machines. A compromised browser does not own the whole laptop. Journalists and researchers rely on that model.
Funding has been chronic and lumpy: Open Collective, occasional partners. The need is not a 90-day sprint. It is several years of docs, hardware support, and interface work.
This grant is a donation to the existing project. Unrestricted multi-year support so the team can plan past the next campaign.
